This website is set-up for being your one-stop-shop for everything on next level designs. But what is a higher level. This is a buzz word with little meaning these days. Here it does have a clear meaning, and it can't be described in a few words. You can, however, see where it comes from at the about page from which Designs4NLL originated.

The way to get there is a new way of learning, called Next Level Learning

What you read on this website may not quite grasp. Perhaps you will get a feel of it. It has been a long development towards next level design that looking back is a path to how we can have a more pleasant life but mostly more real. Actually it is impossible to describe but to a certain extend everyone will understand what I am talking about. Why do we live for appearances, a mock life etc? That is actually a rhetorical question we only can answer ourselves, but somehow most people have the idea or feeling that they have to lie, keep up appearances. Why don't we just be real? And if we already see the answer are we going to change it? That is all too big a step. But in fact it is a small step that feels very big. That is what Next Level Learning was developed for to be able to take this step and see that it is much more close than we think possible. You can achieve Next Level Learning by doing 6 exercises with 2 animations.

 

The first animation 'A new perspective' is an introduction on the functioning of the psyche and the phenomenon of perspective change. The second animation ‘Everything necessary for next level learning’ is based on 7 questions. The last question is about achieving Next Level Learning by doing 6 exercises with these 2 animations. The two animations together are called the tool for Next Level Learning. You find this tool on the website www.nextlevelearningtool.com. Basically you only need the tool page and the how page with the 6 exercises. However you can also use a book to enhance your next level as you can read on that website on the book page.

It is like a game where you can gain unlimited next levels.

When you have achieved Next Level Learning by doing the exercises with the tool for Next Level Learning you gain a learning opportunity. With Next Level Learning we learn from 'observing and moving' in addition to what we all already know and are able to 'thinking and pursuing a goal'. In the learning mode of 'thinking and pursuing a goal' we easily get stuck and in 'observing and moving' we easily feel like a fish in the water. And you will notice or may have already noticed that with observing and moving you never get stuck. As a consequence, with observing and moving, there are also always new possibilities and solutions to problems coming into view. So we gain a great learning component in addition to thinking and pursuing a goal.

In practice, it can be difficult in challenging situations with a lot of tension to keep observing and moving or to get back to it. You can easily practice your own ability to move by trying to find solutions to problems. These can be major world problems, but also problems in which you are personally involved. You can do this just for yourself, and then it is like playing a game. The more possibilities you see for more problems, the higher your level will become. You can also play this game with others, which allows you to discover how you can also keep observing and moving with others or come back to it at any time you want. You will gradually raise your next level, as it were. And you will also be able to see that if you do this together, you can reach much further than you thought possible. The sky is the limit, or actually there are no boundaries because you have unlimited space at your disposal in which you can observe and move.

If at any time you feel you aren't making any progress, you can try to find solutions to problems together with others who have reached a higher level; this will help you to move forward again. Harvest your next level professionally 

 

As described at the beginning of this page, everything on this website is for people who truly want to live, be real, be genuine, being truly alive etc. This is something that cannot be described but everyone has a feeling or idea about it. The same goes for being real with others in contact, then there is real contact and what is more precious in life than that. How much misery there would not be both personally, in work on a global scale if everyone would be real and we would have real contact with each other. This too cannot be described but we all have a feeling or idea about this when others are not real in contact, manipulate, etc. and keep up powerlessness, greed, loneliness, feeling rejected, etc. If you want to be real professionally, work or engaged with others that is of course only possible if the others also want to be real in contact. In order then not to fall into the old habits, automatisms that we are used to of not being real, there is aid that simply describes a way to remain together in being real when, for example, in problem solving, decision making, coming to peace in conflicts, etc etc. This basic aid contains four generic situation descriptions that enable you to put every interaction, conversation, etc. back into a structured way to be real and to see actual reality. In fact, you then learn together in a maximally open way. Hence we call the basic aid an Open Learning Environment. This basic aid is one of the tools4NLL and is freely available to everyone on this website.

 

You can use the tools4NLL to engage professionally from different starting points described in detail on the page ‘users’. For example, you can look at it from the work you do or from the leadership of an organization. How to use these tools4NLL in those situations is described also on the page for users. A number of tools4NLL will be added later to the basic aid described above and descriptions for their use will also be forthcoming.

 

Using the tools4NLL for designers has an extra dimension because the design is for people using the tools4NLL or in other words really working with each other, working together etc. What this means is described on the page 'Designers'.

Start a shop, community or design studio for next level designs

Next level designers creating next level designs need some kind of bridge to the world where people are used to regular designs. This bridge is practically worked out as a combination of a shop, design studio and community in which the tools4NLL are integrated. This bridge is therefore also a tool4NLL and free to use or take over from this website. This bridge is described on the 'designers' page and the shop, community and design studio are also implemented as separate subpages.

        
Free to use tools4NLL

The next level design elements and what comes with them to use it as listed on the Designs4NLL website, www.4nll.com, will be referred to in combination as tools4NLL. Designs4NLL is dedicated to keeping the tools4NLL freely available and that any variations that arise from it are again freely available to all. The tools4NLL may be used freely, free of charge. The tools4NLL may be modified and again made freely available to others, free of charge. The modifications can be in the area of next level functionality, language etc. Everything is aimed at keeping everything freely available to everyone. You can read more on this on the page 'Free to use tools4NLL'.

Designs4NLL is set up by Frans de Vlieger form his own design studio with the name Institute for Next Level Learning & Living. The free to use tools4NLL are provided by the Institute. However this website and Designs4NLL will follow a scheme of three stages.

Three stages of Designs4NLL

This website is now a first stage of design in the form of a fully automated website with free to use Tools4NLL. In the second stage it will go over towards what is described on the page for designers, Designs4NLL will become a group of shop owners and associated studios that collectively facilitate a community of designers. It will probably be the pioneers as described on the page about pioneers who will be the first to form this group. In the third stage there will be a kind of exhibition space for the designers where they can permanently display their designs. There will also be additional temporary and physical exhibitions or a section that deals mainly with the past in the form of a museum. This will also include a library for related media and the free to use tools4NLL of stage one.

The aim of Designs4NLL is to keep up with the needs of the users, designers and pioneers as described on this website. That is why the company Designs4NLL will change from one stage to the other and so will the terms and conditions you find at the bottom of the page.

Pioneers in stage 1 will be the owners in stage 2

​

At the beginning of stage 2 the shop and studio owners will be selected. These will be the pioneers as described on this website. Visualised it will look like a design park with exhibited designs, shops, studio’s and meeting places where people will have real contact with each other. Where people are really alive and make work that is as it were alive as described on the home page. You can rent a shop and studio place in stage 2, which will start when there will be sufficient demand for these design shops and studio’s. This demand will come if Next Level Learning will take off. The pioneers will start ahead of this wave so as the wave will come they are able to open a shop and a studio. It is also true that the pioneers will make the wave come as described on the page about pioneers. To provide an incentive for the adventure that the pioneers are embarking on, they will be charged only 10% of the rent for a shop and studio place in stage 2 and are secured of a place in the design park. Anyone who wants to start with this can fill in the form at the page ‘pioneers’.
