How to achieve actual solutions

The big question is how we can achieve an actual solution to a complex problem in a system involving many people. If we are the only one seeing the solution, we cannot solve the problem. It takes a sufficient number of people in a number of critical parts in the system that see the same solution. In every complex problem, four critical parts can be identified in which a sufficient number of people need to see the same solution. What a "sufficient" number of people is, depends on the specific critical part and the kind of complex problem. The four critical parts are derived from the four insights described on the page "Why". To see the same solution, people have to look at the problem from the (perspective of the) whole with a 4th generation systems thinking, such as Next Level Learning. See below for the description of the four critical solution parts:

1) To make solutions work

The moment we apply a solution we become part of the system and therefore part of the problem. To automatically become part of the solution we first have to become part of the system.

Decisionmakers, CEO’s, governors, politicians, directors are the ones who put solutions in motion. With Next Level Learning they can see from the start whether a solution will potentially work or not, by taking themselves into account as part of the system.

2) To make solutions happen

To make solutions happen, a connection is needed between every person within the system and the shared perspective of the whole.

The more people in a certain group, such as a team, project group, organization, society or the entire world, have achieved Next Level Learning, the more there will be a shared perspective and momentum to make solutions happen within the system of the group.

3) To make solutions future proof

For dynamic problems we have to oversee the total time span into the future to find timeless causes and timeless solutions which are future proof.

For everyone involved in solving complex problems related to our future, such as sustainability in energy, climate, economy it is of the utmost importance to see with Next Level Learning whether a solution is future proof.

4) To make solutions unnecessary

When we learn to see the root causes of complex problems before they come into existence we can prevent problems from happening. It is unnecessary to find solutions for all those problems that will be prevented.

The effect of preventing problems will grow exponentially when people are connected who have achieved Next Level Learning in a certain fields such as in education, society, science and economics or in a smaller context such as in an organization, project, team etc. The more leadership is involved in connecting people in these transitions, the more areas will emerge where the number of complex problems will be drastically reduced and the sooner the transition will lead to a better world for everyone.
